Tired morning, Yay for Vets...

Remember to take a moment today to say a prayer for our Vets who have been in or who are in warzones now. They've put their lives on the line for us many times over and it's important to remember the sacrifices they have made.

I woke up worn out this morning. I had a nightmare that I woke up in a different house and I kept asking Pooks where we were and she didn't know either. I wanted to get home, but I didn't know how.... it was scary I'll put more details over on the dream library. We're going to a cook-out today at Mom&Dad, and Pooks parents are coming too. So it should be interesting and hopefully a good thing.

That's all for now, I'm either going back to bed or going to play some WoW...

It's been a while...

So I'm posting to make sure everyone knows I'm still alive.

Pooks & I spent the weekend together making budgets and watching the New Doctor Who's from the BBC. If you haven't been catching it on the SciFi channel it can be found online. It always was a great show, and I think the new ones are even better.

I've finally got my computer fixed up now it's running happily with Suse Linux 10.1. No Problems or complaints with it so far.

I'm changing jobs by the beginning of June. A friend of mine agreed to take the Unix Admin position at my work, so I'm free to move to this new position. I think it will be a good change.... I've still got the new job jitters though.

Still playing WoW, It's been a pain recently though. With the server problems from the beginning of the year, I have characters on four different servers, trying to play each of them is really annoying, so I'm gonna have to pick one and stick with it. The guild I'm in on one server is getting annoying, so I'm gonna drop it. I was hoping for some good ppl to play with, but since I"m a casual player it's seriously hard.

I think I've lost a lot of ppl from my AIM Buddy List. Just friends that have moved on.

Anyway, I'm supposed to be going to work now, so I gotta go :-)

Changing my computer oil...

They are changing my computer's oil on my work PC. It's not a big process (and it's not really oil-changing), so I thought I would blog while they worked.

I got to watch joggers as I drove home. One of the highschool crew teams runs a 5 mile stretch of road I drive down in the evenings. So I get to watch them sweat while I drive by. Makes me thankful to have a car.

I'm still working on moving... I think I'm just getting "stuck in my ways" and that makes it hard. I haven't moved in about three years and so I am not looking forward to this move. I still don't have a place to move to yet either... and there's not any place that is "best" to move to either.

Pooks has been stressing about her house & job. It's really driving her nuts. So I've tried to be there for her as best as I can.

Not Moving... well maybe....

I found out from my apartment complex manager that I don't have to move until January 12th of next year! W00T! That's pretty sweet it takes the pressure off of moving someplace immediately. Last night though, I left work at 6pm and it took me 51minutes to get home... so maybe moving closer isn't such a bad idea anyway.

I've been thinking about that a lot lately. Also about my job, I'm changing jobs within my company and so it is a little stressful. I feel pulled in several directions.

Pooks is headed off on a camping trip this weekend. I'm selling my big tv, mainly to make room for a new tv. I'm heading to see Silent Hill w/ Shawn & his friend Eric. We'll be digging in on chinese food and a game movie. I'll post a review, I'm actually looking forward to seeing it.

Moving Around....

So I'm moving to a name based blog. Eh, just time for a change.

Life's been moving fast recently, Helped Pooks move, selling my Tv to Shawn, my apt's being converted to a condo so I have to move out, converting from dsl to cable modem, setting up a wrt54g (my linksys Wap11 SUCKED!!!!) I'm moving jobs at work, I am pissed about not having a lot in savings & so am worried about it too, there are a lot of things I still need to repair on dad's webserver,

I took monday off and played WoW all day (and went to a dental appt.)

I needed the vegg time.
